GETTING THE MAX OUT OF YOUR CLOSET….. if you can’t see it, you won’t wear it.

How many times have you said to yourself,  I have nothing to wear?   People tend to wear the same thing over and over and some clothes never even see the light of day.   An easy way to make sure everything in your closet is getting the maximum use is to keep your closet neat and tidy.    Clothes tend to get shoved in the back and if you don’t see it,  you won’t wear it.

I like to display everything and make each item accessible.   The less clutter, the better.  I live in a small condo so I don’t have much choice to keep it clutter free.    Getting rid of clothes you don’t wear anymore or that don’t fit will free up space, making it less challenging to keep your closet organized.

A few years ago I started rolling my t-shirts, tank tops and even my pajamas in my drawers.   Not only is this a space saver but when they are rolled you can see everything effortlessly,  as opposed to digging through a stack of t-shirts.

Not only should you display your clothes but this also applies to your bags, shoes and accessories.   If your jewelry is kept visible and organized then you will more than likely wear most of your pieces.  Since my living space is so small I have to keep my jewelry and accessories displayed in my closet which isn’t ideal but I made it work.  I hung coat racks to display my chockers and bracelets.    You could also use this idea to hang scarves and bags.

I hope these tips have helped and I have inspired you to reorganize your closet and get the maximum use of the things you already own.   After all,  you bought them to wear not to take up space.
