Aging is a part of life and I completely get that but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Here are some easy anti aging tips that you might want to start doing ASAP.
Drinking water, exercising regularly and getting enough sleep are things you can easily do to have your skin looking as refreshed and youthful as possible. Drinking plenty of water through out the day will keep your skin hydrated. Hydrated skin will look younger and have a natural glow. I have a pitcher of cucumber water in my fridge at all times to make sure I drink enough water. Exercise increases your blood flow, which helps keep your skin vital and nourishes your skin cells. When you are sleeping your body’s hydration re balances. If you do not get enough sleep your water will not be balanced which leads to puffy eyes and dark circles and more visible lines and wrinkles can appear. These three easy tips make a wonderful recipe to having younger looking skin.
Moisturizing every day and night is a must! I don’t just moisturize my face either. I moisturize my whole body, from head to toe. Don’t forget your neck, back of your hands, knees and eyelids! When moisturizing your face, always massage in an upward circular motion. I have recently started a new weekly regime and I am really noticing a difference in my skin! My skin feels much softer and looks much brighter! Once a week I use a micro needle roller on my face, followed by Vitamin C serum and lastly, I apply some medicinal cream. This is taking it to a whole new level! The roller makes tiny little holes that allows the serum to penetrate and absorb deeper into the skin which allows for a more powerful result. Vitamin C is the latest craze for your skin because it is not only necessary for collagen production and maintenance but it is also a potent antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals in your skin. The CBD oil in the medicinal cream really helps fade your fine lines while leaving your skin incredibly hydrated. I get this all natural cream from a local company in the city called Ouulo.
Your face has more contact with your pillowcase than any other fabric. This is why I only sleep on a silk pillowcase. The silk gives your face a healthy glow and keeps your face looking refreshed. Silk hydrates your skin by keeping moisture close to your skin.
Wearing sunscreen is the first and best way to help fight premature aging from the sun. Using a sunscreen daily, even in the winter can help protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
Wearing sunglasses will not only prevent sun damage but will also keep you from squinting which causes crow’s feet. So not only can sunglasses be part of your stylish outfit but they are protecting your eyes as well.
Sleeping with your make up on might be one of the worst things you can do for your face. I know we are all guilty of this. I keep face wipes by my bed for those times I am just too tired to get up and wash my face. The most important tip I can give you is to wash your face every night and to moisturize right after! This should be one tip you never skip. I add face wash to a silicone pore cleansing pad when I wash my face. The tiny bristles on the top of the pad massage debris out of clogged pores, while the larger bumps exfoliate and overall soften the skin.
